Elie Abboud is currently the President of Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) and the former thereof during 2014 till 2016.
Elie is the Managing Partner of UHY Andy Bryan (member of UHY International), an audit and consulting firm based in Beirut-Lebanon since 2004. Prior to joining UHY network, he was an Executive Manager at Ernst & Young along with 13 years of experience with Big4 firms including Ernst and Young, Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Through his employment with the above international audit firms starting 1992, he has successfully provided statutory audit, operational, financial and regulatory consulting services to private banks, insurance companies as well as regulatory bodies in Lebanon and the Middle East.
During his professional career, he was exposed to a variety of accounting and consulting assignments covering a wide range of multifarious organizations, institutions and industries in banking, insurance, transportation, real estate, healthcare, education, hospitality, contracting, investment, advertising, manufacturing and trading.
